Job Description:
The Director of Finance is responsible for modeling the

and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using
the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for
upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive
working relationships within the company, among all departments,
and all external stakeholders. The Director of Finance oversees and
manages the integration of financial systems, processes, and
operations across various departments within Compassus. The
Director of Finance ensures the seamless transition and alignment
of financial functions following mergers, acquisitions, Joint
Ventures or other significant organizational changes.Position
Specific Responsibilities
- Leads the planning and execution of finance integration
initiatives, works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure
alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develops and implements integration strategies and roadmaps,
including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to
achieve seamless integration of financial systems and
processes.
- Collaborates with finance, accounting, and IT teams to assess
existing financial systems, identify gaps, and recommends
enhancements or new solutions to streamline operations and improve
efficiency.
- Drives process standardization and optimization efforts to
harmonize financial workflows and reporting structures across the
organization.
- Leads and guides project teams throughout the integration
process, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and timely
resolution of issues or challenges.
- Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to
measure the effectiveness and success of integration initiatives,
tracks progress and provides regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identifies risks and dependencies associated with finance
integration projects, develops mitigation strategies, and escalates
issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborates with finance leadership to develop
post-integration plans and support ongoing efforts to monitor,
evaluate, and continuously improve financial processes and
systems.
- Maintains knowledge of industry best practices, emerging
technologies, and regulatory requirements related to finance
integration, incorporating relevant insights into integration
strategies and initiatives.
- Mentors and develops team members, fostering a culture of
learning, collaboration, and innovation within the finance
integration function.Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business
administration, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Seven (7) + years of progressive experience in finance,
accounting, or related roles, with a focus on finance integration,
mergers and acquisitions, or corporate development.Skills
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
percentage.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret
general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports,
business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from
leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong
written and verbal communications.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write,
and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare
at home philosophy. Strong understanding of financial systems,
processes, and controls, with the ability to assess, analyze, and
optimize workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading
and managing complex financial integration projects, including
cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a
results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing
integrated plans to achieve business objectives.
- People Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership and people
management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and
develop team members to achieve their full potential. Proficiency
in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
related to finance integration, M&A transactions, and corporate
governance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,
managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of
professionalism and integrity.Physical Demands and Work
Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to
effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to
accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing,
walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the
ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity
requirements include close and distance vision, color and
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
