Shift: Core business hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Direct Report: TP)Technology Team Manager
About the Manager positionWe are looking for an experienced Manager
to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce errors,
improve process results and reduce costs. You will maintain and
generate documentation of existing processes and improvements,
forecast expected results of process improvements, analyze
implemented improvements and make continuous adjustments to
workflows. Ensure audit readiness at all times, lead and manage the
Process Design Unit processes and staff. The role requires
performing Process Qualification (PQ), stabilizing production
processes, and optimizing productivity for newly established
operations. Develop and implement a structured training program for
new engineers and operational staff to ensure the rapid
establishment of technical expertise and operational proficiency in
the new plant.Manager responsibilities are:
- Actively support and drive a Safety Always Culture, a 5S
workplace, consistent up, down, and across communication and
continuous improvement as a way of work life.
- Manage human and material resources to meet TP's target
requirements.
- Maintain existing operating conditions and rapidly identify
improvement opportunities to optimize
- Lead, demonstrate, and enforce TP safety protocols, compliance/
regulatory requirements, reporting, administration, budgeting,
supplier base, customer expectations, etc.
- To improve continuously safety, quality and production, create
initiatives, analyze data, perform root cause analysis, apply
effective methodologies and permanently solve problems, and work to
identify opportunities to continue process improvement and
equipment uptime
- All Implementation of technology team are performed on
Tennessee Plant strategy
- Manage all specification and standard for process optimizing,
improving and creating
- Monitor and assess performance of staff and hold staff to
operational and leadership expectations; conduct performance
appraisals; take immediate actions when underperformance is
identified
- Lead and manage staff, ensure responsibilities are understood,
hold others accountable, ensure consistency and never accept the
status quo as acceptable
- Ensure efficient and effective collaboration between
departmental suppliers and customers with regular communication and
information
- Lead and coordinate process improvement implementation teams to
ensure bottom-up and across the organization input and involvement
to drive a continuous improvement mind-set
- Arrange and coordinate internal and external audit preparation
and organizational readiness
- Regularly communicate with TP's departments, R&D and G.HQ
to gather input and provide feedback relative to process
improvement so that related departments can work organically
- Develop training materials, organize and provide timely and
relevant training utilizing methods to ensure understanding and
immediate application
- Manage budget and identify and drive cost control
initiatives
- Analyze the differences between existing and new processes to
establish the most efficient operational strategies, ensuring the
newly expanded plant achieves its target performance levels
- Plan and execute structured training programs for new engineers
and production personnel to accelerate technical capability
development for an additional plant
- Lead product development processes, establish production
technologies, and set quality standards to support the early mass
production of new products
- Perform other duties as assignedManager requirements
are:Education:
- (Required) Bachelor's degree
- (Preferred) Mechanical Engineering or advanced degree in a
related fieldExperience:
- (Required) Several years of mechanical engineering
experience
- (Preferred) 3+ years of managerial experience
- (Preferred) Previous experience in the manufacturing
industryPhysical Demands:
- Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant
campus, general office environments, production areas, and
occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the
time
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office
productivity machinery
- Must be able to position self to file documents including the
top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
- Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies
