• Ascension Skills Checklist: Required annually in specialty.
• Ascension EKG Exam: Score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts is required.

  • Looking for highly motivated nurses to help on this PCU Cardiac Surgery Unit. This unit cares for patients that are status post cardiac surgery.
    • Job Requirements
    • Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
    • Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
      • Unit Specific Information
      • This is for a PCU Cardiac Surgery Unit.
        • Additional Details
        • Must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified in BLS and ACLS.
        • For Michigan hospitals: Nursing licensure needs to be verified through LARA, not NURSYS. Upload in NURSYS regardless.
        • It is required to use NURSYS for APRNs, RNs, and LPN/LVNs to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
        • During flu season starting Sept 4th, 2023, all new travelers need updated Influenza Vaccine annually. Declinations and exemptions not accepted.
        • Vaccination series completion is documented, or if a declination to vaccine is made.
        • X-ray completed in the case of positive PPD.
        • Must have a statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to the first assignment, updated annually thereafter.
        • If TB record is positive; Requires Proof of Chest X-Ray within last 1 year accompanied by TB questionnaire.
