Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides direct and indirect patient care. -He/she applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. -The Registered Nurse must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers, patients and families. -He/She works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered. -Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse.Required Skills
Demonstrated proficiency of 50 percent of the skills required for Level II.Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 30 days of hire
ACLS current or within 1 year of hire
PALS current or within 1 year of hire
Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within in 1 year of hireRequired Licenses
