Unit Specifics:
-- Number of Beds : 3 Cath Labs, 1 Peripheral Vascular Cath Lab, 3
EP Labs, 1 Hybrid OR
-- Patient Ratios : 3 staff per patient
-- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech
availability) : Boardrunner and 1 expeditor
-- Type of equipment : GE and Philips fluoro, Merge Hemo, Acist
injectors, Impella, IABP, Biosense Webster and St. Jude in EP
-- Documentation system: Merge Hemo
-- Scheduling requirements: 4 x 10 hour shifts 6:30 am to 5:00
pm
-- Floating policy: No floating
-- Patient Experience requirements: Patient transport and
prepping
Hospital Specifics-
-- Certifications: For CV Techs- RCIS and/or RT(R)- only one
required
Procedures performed on unit: Diagnostic/Interventional heart caths
and endovascular. EP- pacemaker, ICD, and ablation experience a
