    • Must have: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, ICU experience
    • Advanced skills needed for procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions
      • Schedule Information
      • Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule
      • Schedule is done in 4 week increments
      • Self-scheduling to an extent
      • Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule

        • Number of Beds: 16
        • Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing
        • Unit staffing description: unit secretaries staffed during dayshift, occasional nurse extern working as a tech
        • Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000
        • Documentation system: Meditech
        • Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float to med/surg as needed
        • Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members
