The Daily Wire's Editorial team is seeking an experienced and
visionary Publisher to lead the strategic and operational
management of our publishing and editorial divisions. This
high-level executive will oversee all aspects of content
production, distribution, and monetization, ensuring alignment with
the Daily Wire's business objectives and editorial standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
Formulates and executes the overall publishing strategy to achieve
the company's financial and editorial goals. Identifies and pursues
new market opportunities, including digital platforms, new content
verticals, and latent or emerging markets.
Financial Management
Oversees the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitors financial performance and implements measures to achieve
financial targets. Develops strategies to diversify revenue streams
through advertising, subscriptions, sponsored content, and other
innovative monetization methods. Fully accountable for department's
financial results.
Editorial Oversight
Works with editorial team to ensure all published content meets
high editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Maintains the publication's overall voice and tone. Collaborates to
develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the
Company's objectives and audience needs. Encourages innovative
storytelling techniques and the use of multimedia to enhance
content engagement.
Operations Leadership
Effectively oversees day-to-day operations. Streamlines content
production processes to ensure efficiency and timely publication.
Implements and manages editorial calendars. Leverages new
technologies and tools to enhance content creation, distribution,
and reader/audience engagement.
Team Management
Leads and inspires a creative team of editors, writers, and content
creators. Fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence. Sets
and communicates achievable performance goals, regularly provides
feedback to team members, and holds team accountable for expected
results.
Compliance and Ethics
Ensures all content and business practices comply with legal
requirements and ethical standards. Addresses any issues related to
copyright, libel, or other legal matters promptly with the Legal
team.
Other Duties as Assigned
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by
supervisors as deemed appropriate.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in publishing, journalism, communications, or a
related field. Minimum of 7 years in senior publishing or editorial
roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership position.

roles with a focus on digital and traditional media
--- Strong understanding of content strategy, audience
segmentation, and content distribution
--- Knowledge of the political editorial landscape and of the
audience of our publication
--- Ability to accept criticism and feedback and use it in a
constructive way
--- Ability to communicate facts and ideas in a clear, tasteful,
and truthful manner
--- Competency with devices, software, and platforms necessary for
journalistic writing and online communication
--- G-suite proficiency
Reports to: President of the Daily Wire
Start date: Immediate
Employment type: Full-time; Exempt
Compensation: Dependent upon experience
