Job Description:

Summary

  • Provide high quality CT imaging procedures to patients and physicians.
  • Work in a respectful, efficient, safe, and clean environment. Requirements
    • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology with ARRT accreditation.
    • Registered in the subspecialty of CT or registry eligible.
    • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
    • Preference of one year work experience in hospital CT setting.
    • Ability to perform multifunctional tasks and take call for STAT, Urgent, or Routine studies after hours and on weekends when needed. Performance Standards
    • Checks patient identification and physician order for accuracy.
    • Provides proper radiation safety protection for all persons, following ALARA, IMAGE GENTLY AND IMAGE WISLEY protocols.
    • Strives to maintain patient dignity and safety.
    • Volunteers for overtime and fill-in when needed.
    • Ensures high quality studies and efficient equipment use.
