4Position Summary:The Associate Event Designer is responsible for
supporting the design and execution of eventsby assisting in the
development, implementation, and overall aesthetic of the event
environment.Working alongside multiple teams, this position
contributes to creating a seamless attendeejourney and supporting
the design of event d--cor, activations, and overall event themes.
Thisrole requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational
skills, and the ability to execute designconcepts in line with
client expectations and budgets.Job Responsibilities:--- Assist
creative, event operations, and meeting services teams by
supporting the--- execution of event designs, focusing on the look,
feel, and flow of the event.--- Assist in the overall creative
event design and vision on projects for client deliverables:o
Develop, communicate, and present ideas (verbally and written) in a
way thatinspires, excites, and sells conceptso Understand client
brand, vision, and cultureo Ability to convey overall theming and
storytelling for the attendee journey in aconcise way---
Collaborate with other designers and account executives to help
bring creative conceptsto life.--- Participate in brainstorming
sessions and contribute design ideas, ensuring they alignwith
client visions and event goals.--- Assist with proposals and
presentations, including supporting the creation of decks
inPowerPoint/Keynote/PDF to communicate concepts and ideas
clearly.--- Assist in creating event designs, floor plans, and
visuals that match client requirementsand event specifications.---
Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients
to ensure designelements are executed on time and within budget.---
Support the tracking of design material inventory and assist in
sourcing materials asneeded.--- Assist with the creation of event
renderings and layouts, following design specificationsand
guidelines.--- Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of
design, ensuring projects meet client needswhile staying within the
allocated budget.--- Stay current on industry trends, design
techniques, and production products to contributefresh ideas to the
design process.--- Help coordinate with vendors, rental companies,
and other event partners to ensure thatdesign elements are sourced
and executed appropriately.--- Support senior team members in
on-site event coordination and execution as
needed.Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university in a design-related field, orequivalent
experience.--- 2+ years of experience in event design or related
fields, such as corporate meetings,activations, tradeshows, and
special events.--- Portfolio of successfully designed events, such
as corporate meetings, tradeshows,festivals, activations, and/or
parties--- Strong ability to collaborate and contribute to team
efforts, while also showing initiativeand
creativity.Competencies:--- Creative and proactive, with a strong
ability to support design creation andimplementation.--- Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills.--- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectivelywith team members and clients.--- Thrive in a
fast-paced, high-volume environment, all while possessing excellent
timemanagementskills.--- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite,
and basic knowledge of design software likeAdobe Creative Suite and
CAD tools is a plus.--- A good understanding of scale in an
environmental space--- Positive, solution-oriented attitude with a
willingness to learn and grow within the eventdesign field.---
Strong ability to handle issues proactively - ability to
troubleshoot problems quickly andgive a solution.--- Ability to
travel occasionally and work evenings/weekends when
necessary.Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:Employee
required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at
a computerscreen. Employee required to do some standing and
walking. Employee will be in a welllighted,heated and/or
air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate
