Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! We want people to join our team in the role of Tissue Recovery Technician to coordinate the technical aspects of recovering donated human tissue.

Below are some of the key accountabilities/qualifications this position will hold: - The Tissue Recovery Technicians work around the clock as a team in the recovery of human tissue as a vital part of the donation process. - The Tissue Recovery Technicians will participate in the recovery, packaging, and labeling of human tissue. The recovery consists of cleaning and setting up the recovery room, surgical prep of the donor, aseptic recovery of human tissue, restoration of the donor, and decontamination of the recovery room and instruments. - The shifts for this position are 12 hour rotating shifts from 8-8 (AM & PM) and follow a two week rotation. (Week 1: Sun, Wed, Thurs and Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat.)*At this time, we are currently focused on hiring for the 8PM-8AM shift. - Training is a combination of instructor conducted didactic wet labs, the completion of training modules, and active training. - Being a part of a team that is able to honor a donor's gift of donation is rewarding and fulfilling!

We offer a competitive compensation package including: - Starting Pay: $21.00 for Tissue Technician I.(Employees assigned to an evening shift will earn an additional $1.50 per hour) - Opportunity to advance Technician Levels within 12 months with an increase of pay at each level.o Technician II: $21.75o Technician III: $23.50o Technician IV: $24.50o Technician V: $25.50 - Up to 176 hours of PTO your first year - Up to 72 hours of Sick Time your first year - Two Medical Plans (your choice of a PPO or HDHP), Dental, and Vision Coverage - 403(b) plan with matching contribution - Company provided term life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance - Wellness Program - Supplemental insurance benefits such as accident coverage and short-term disability - Discounts on home/auto/renter/pet insurance - Cell phone discounts through Verizon
