Job Title: Data Analyst/Business Analyst/Quality Analyst
Location: Columbia, TN
Duration: Long Term

Overview: We are seeking a Data Analyst with Business Analysis skills to support our Data Services teams in coordinating with the business. The role involves working across multiple systems (AIM, AIS, CIM), exploring raw data and data models, and interfacing with business stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs. The analyst will also assist in implementing data catalogs, data dictionaries, and business glossaries for our Data Governance Initiative.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs.
Perform data discovery, blending, and curation from various sources.
Conduct ad-hoc querying and analysis on structured and unstructured data.
Design and develop reporting and analytics solutions using tools like Business Objects, WebFocus, Cognos, Power BI, SSRS.
Create data visualizations to demonstrate trends and opportunities.
Document data process flows and business processes using Visio or other tools.
Provide thought leadership on using data and analytics to improve operational efficiencies.
Identify new data sources to enhance analytical capabilities.
Define technical data requirements and perform data mapping for reporting solutions.
Conducting data quality assessments and audits
Identifying data quality issues and working with stakeholders to resolve them
Monitoring data quality metrics and reporting on data quality performance
Collaborating with data stewards and data owners to maintain data integrity
Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong SQL development skills.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools (Business Objects, WebFocus, Cognos, Power BI).
Understanding of relational data structures and Agile project management frameworks.
Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
Experience in advanced analytics (statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling).
